Meet Derek Hendershot, PT, DPT

Derek Hendershot, PT, DPT is the founder of Franklin Physical Therapy. He earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy and has spent his career treating patients across hospital, outpatient, and home settings throughout Northern New Jersey, with advanced certification in dry needling.

He has run his own practice for the past three years, building his caseload entirely through word of mouth — no traditional marketing, no referral circuits, just patients who got better and told their friends. Franklin Physical Therapy is the next step: a clinic in the community he grew up in.

Derek grew up in Sussex County and still lives here with his wife, their kids, and the family dog. Patients tend to like that their therapist is a local who isn't going anywhere.
